PM’s Wife Helps Citizens Harvesting Rice in Takeo

PHNOM PENH: The Prime Minister's wife, Bun Rany Hun Sen has extended her hands to the citizens of Kraing Thnong village, Kraing Thnong commune, Bati district in Takeo province harvesting rice on Sunday morning. Photos of her have been shared on social media willingly helped as Cambodia enters the harvest season.

 The cabinet has posted Bun Rany Hun Sen's activity saying, "The help of farmers to harvest rice by Samdech Kittipritthbandit this morning has helped alleviate some difficulties for farmers. Farmers also expressed their excitement and admiration for the courage of Samdech Kittipritthbandit and other senior leaders who still connect with farmers."

 The cabinet has confirmed that her visit to help in harvesting rice was because of her love for farming. Samdech Kittipritthbandit Bun Rany Hun Sen born on 15 December 1954, is a daughter of a farmer in Roka Khnor commune, Krouch Chhmar district, Kampong Cham province which is now part of Tbong Khmum province. Farmers have always a special space in her heart. She has encouraged farmers to continue their efforts to cultivate rice, which is an important source of food for Cambodia.
